Our Big Day
Our wedding, both ceremony and reception, will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the Tuscan inspired Sassi Ristorante in Scottsdale, Arizona. The ceremony will begin at five o'clock and will be followed by a cocktail reception, dinner, and dancing.
Sassi combines Arizona's breathtaking views with old world Tuscan architecture and ambiance of a residential villa to deliver the perfect location for exchanging vows.

Sassi Ristorante is located about eight miles north and east of the Loop 101 freeway. From the 101, take the Pima Rd exit north. Travel north about 5 miles, then turn right (east) on E Happy Valley Rd. Follow Happy Valley for about 2 miles, then turn left (north) on N Alma School Rd. In 1 mile, you will see Sassi Ristorante on your left as the road curves to the right. Turn left on Pinnacle Peak Pkwy to access the parking lot.

The Ceremony
An outdoor garden lawn creates a romantic atmosphere for our wedding ceremony with views of Pinnacle Peak. We have timed the ceremony to begin at five o'clock, allowing time for pictures after in perfect lighting. We are hopeful that the end of summer should provide a comfortable climate for our wedding, but please be advised that it may yet be a little warm.
Cocktail Reception
Immediately following the ceremony, guests are invited to mingle at a cocktail reception. Depending on temperature, cocktails will be served on the ceremony lawn or outside the reception hall with misters providing a cooler setting. Enjoy beer, wine, and selected cocktails with three fantastic appetizers passed by waiters:

- white bean with rosemary
- asparagus with Ricotta salata
Dinner
The Sassi private event room is appointed with two fireplaces, wood beam ceilings, an intimate foyer, and a covered patio overlooking the courtyard with views of Pinnacle Peak. Cuisine is inspired by the traditions of southern Italy. Enjoy a delicious gourmet Italian dinner served in three courses, with entertainment provided by our DJ and Master of Ceremonies throughout.
INSALATA

- Farfalle al Cedro
- butterfly shaped pasta tossed with olive oil, thin slices of Meyer lemon, lemon juice and butter
SECONDI
- Pollo Cacciatore
- pan seared chicken breast, roast Shitake mushrooms, lemon zest herbs and breadcrumbs with tomato vinaigrette

Cocktails, dancing, and mingling will continue until approximately 11:00 pm. Please stay and enjoy each others company, get a little exercise on the dance floor, and have fun!!!
