Yes, we will head your way and do it all over again. This will be more of an informal event, perhaps best described as a Fall BBQ & Bonfire party! We will have good food and some drinks provided. Bring your favorite drink if you want. As the night unfurls we will light up the fire pit. Don't be surprised if you end up seeing a guitar or two pop out as the evening progresses - for some reason that tends to happen around the fire at night!

We will get started at 2:00 pm with a family gathering, spending some time with those relatives not able to make it to the wedding in Arizona. All other guests are invited to arrive anytime after 4:00 pm. We will plan on grilling shortly thereafter and have all the BBQ food ready around 5:00 - 6:00 pm.

For those traveling a bit to get here, we have identified an option for accomodations if the drive home is a bit long or you plan on having a little too much fun to drive home. We may have a limited amount of space for people to crash at the house. The Holiday Inn Express Hotels & Suites in Auburn Hills has rooms starting at $117/night as of July 27th. I will contact them and see if we can get a better group rate. This hotel is located at 3990 Baldwin, Auburn Hills MI 48326, just 4 miles down the highway from my mother's house. We can provide a little shuttling to the hotel for those unable to drive by the end of the night.
